Rice : 1 /4th cup
Sugar : 3/4 th cup
Cardamom powder : 1/2 tsp
Raisins : 1 tbsp
Cashew Nuts chopped: 1 tbsp
Milk : 1 ltr/ 4 cups
Coconut Milk : 3/4th cup (thick)
1. Cook rice as usual in a pressure cooker. Heat milk. Add the cooked rice and cook for some time over low heat. Stirring from time to time till it becomes thick.
2. Add the coconut milk, raisins, sugar and chopped cashew nuts and mix well.
3. Boil for 2/3 minutes. Remove from fire. Add the cardamom powder. Serve.
For Variation : You may skip sugar and add condensed milk (200 gms/7 ounce) 1/2 tin for a more creamier taste.
