Beaten Rice/Poha : 1 cup
Slim Milk : 3 1/2 cups
Sugar or Sugar free : 1/2 cup or as per taste
Cardamom : 4-5
Cashewnuts/Almonds: chopped 3 tbsps
1. Wash the beaten rice and drain out the water. Keep aside covered for 15 minutes.
2. Boil milk. Add the beaten rice to it and cook it over low flame, till it is soft.
3. Add the sugar / sugar substitute, cardamom powder, nuts chopped fine and stir. Serve.
Variation: For a creamier taste, you may add half a tin of condensed milk.
